I was born into a strong Christian home and was taught to read and meditate on the Bible daily. I grew up learning about YHWH from the Old Testament right up until the coming of Yeshua in the New Testament and I always prided myself on being a steadfast Christian with good knowledge of the Bible. However, at the age of 26, I encountered a traumatic event that made me question my belief in God. I could not understand why I, as a servant of God, had experienced such trauma, and it made me doubt his existence for the first time in my life. I didn’t just doubt the existence of God, I was 100% convinced that he didn’t exist. I am pleased to say that what happened afterwards changed my life forever.
In the same month, Yeshua Hamashiach visited me in my dream 3 times. In the first dream, he baptized me by a well. In Christianity baptism is an act that is meant to cleanse one of sin. In the second dream, he took me to an ancient-looking library where he taught me parts of the scriptures. What I remember the most from the second dream was him telling me that humans spend their lives desiring and chasing after the wrong things. This reminds me of the part of the Bible that says: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” Matthew 6:33. In the third dream, we went for a walk in a beautiful garden where I got to ask him personal questions. My life has never been the same ever since. I don’t believe there is an obstacle I could face that would ever make me doubt the existence of God or Yeshua’s love for me. I have had dreams of Yeshua ever since.
How can I be blessed to experience the existence of Yeshua on a personal level and not follow him? For me being a follower of Yeshua has nothing to do with religion or a church. It’s a personal one-to-one relationship with God and his Kingdom. I believe this is what God want’s from us. He wants us to have a unique one-to-one relationship with him. It’s not about what the other person is experiencing in life because no two people can have the same experience.
It’s not for me to tell anyone what or who to believe in but all I can do is share what I experienced first-hand. Belief in a God you can’t see is done purely through faith, and the Bible says: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6. However, if you genuinely doubt the existence of God you have a right to do so because the human brain has been programmed to believe only what it sees or feels. I will also urge you to feel free to ask God to prove his existence to you. A lot of people doubt the existence of God but are too afraid to ask him to prove his existence to them. I was 100% convinced that God didn’t exist and in the same week Yeshua came to me in my dream for the first time and hasn’t stopped ever since. I laugh when I imagine my guardian angels going “Mary, you are asking for it doubting the existence of God”. I don’t consider myself to be a perfect human because I am human after all. However, I feel blessed because in all my imperfections God chose to make time for me. I’m not just a happy woman, I am a blissful woman because God has put me on a path of transformation that will lead me back to his Kingdom. I have no other way to thank him but to give my life back to him. My wish is that everything I experience brings glory back to no one but him.
I’ve had numerous negative energies try to sway me off God’s path but each time it strengthens my faith and belief in God. There is something my brother says. He says: “if you are not living according to God’s plan the devil goes on vacation”. Basically, you know you are doing something right when you keep experiencing endless obstacles. Just remember, God’s strongest warriors are created through life’s greatest adversities.
I am pleased to share my personal experience with Yeshua Hamashiach with the world and I hope that my words are a blessing and an encouragement to whoever reads or needs it.
